The Belleville Police Department is located at 152 Washington Avenue, at the corner of Belleville Avenue and Washington Avenue (Route 7).

From Route 21 South: Exit 7 and at bottom of exit at the light make a left on to main Street. Continue to the second (2nd) traffic light and make a right onto Rutgers Street. Continue straight to the second (2nd) traffic light and make a left onto Washington Avenue. The municipal building is on the left at the next traffic light.

From Route 21 North: Exit 8 continue straight through the traffic light to the first left. Make a left onto Academy Street and continue straight to the second (2nd) stop sign. Make a left onto Washington Avenue. Continue straight to the second traffic light and the municipal building will be on your left. 

Garden State Parkway North to exit 150 (first exit past the Essex Toll). At the bottom of the exit make a right at the traffic light onto Hover Avenue. Continue straight to the first traffic light and make a right onto Joralemon Street. Follow this road to the forth (4th) traffic light and make a right onto Washington Avenue. The police station will be on the left at the third (3rd) traffic light.

Garden State Parkway South to exit 149 (first exit past Essex Toll) at bottom of exit make a right onto John F Kennedy Boulevard. Continue straight to the first light and make a right onto Belleville Avenue. Continue straight to the sixth (6th) traffic light and the police station will be on your left.
